Attention Authors, Artists… Illustrators included…
As the co-manager of the Apple Blossom Gifts, Books & Collectibles Shop at the Iron County Historical Museum & a special events volunteer I had hoped to pass the word at the conference today about an upcoming event, here in the Iron River area…Caspian, Michigan.
We welcome authors, Artists & Illustrators to join in on an upcoming 1st time ever Authors & Artists Day event. We will be hosting this new event on Saturday, July 19th. It is a “Bring your own books &/or Illustrations to sign & sell event” No charge for your table space, 4-8 feet depending on number of participants & your needs. We simply ask that each participant make a few dollar donation to our nonprofit museum in lieu of space & consider donating a book or piece of your choice to our shop for a sale in the future to our shoppers. We also will be glad to give consideration of books to be left with us on consignment. It is our goal to promote Northwoods authors & artists including illustrators, because they too are artists! Photographers are welcome as well!!! Pass the word. A marketing flyer will be emailed to UPPAA the first part of June. Names of pre-registered participants can be included upon request. Contact the museum director. ASAP.
Please note: Marcia Bernhardt, founder of the Iron County Historical Museum has been a member of UPPAA for a GOOD NUMBER of years. Her historical books on Barns, Mines & Logging are listed for sale on your website as well as on our museum site http://www.ironcountyhistoricalmuseum.org/  Please update the museum email address as noted below also found on our website & Facebook page – Iron County Historical Museum Society.
