My Marquette

My Marquette by Tyler R. Tichelaar

I hope you’re all enjoying summer. It’s been too hot for this Yooper lately, but that’s not stopping me from participating in multiple summer events. Here are a few places you can catch me, beginning this weekend.

Saturday, July 23 and Sunday, July 24 – Come to Marquette to visit the Tall Ships coming into Marquette, sponsored by the Marquette Maritime Museum. Read all about the tall ships at: http://mqtmaritimemuseum.com/Events.html
I’ll be one of the many vendors for the event. Joining me will be authors Gretchen Preston, author of Valley Cats, and Donna Winters, author of the Great Lakes Romances series. Hope to see you there!

Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31 – Visit me at the Outback Art Fair at Picnic Rocks in Marquette. This two day art fair is held simultaneously with Art on the Rocks and has over 100 vendors selling books, pottery, paintings, and anything else creative you can imagine. Check out the full vendor list at: http://www.outbackartfair.com/

Saturday, August 6 – You know I love King Arthur, so what better place to go than the Renaissance Festival in Ishpeming, Michigan. And if you want a copy of my book King Arthur’s Children, a study of the Arthurian legend, now’s your chance to get one. Of course, I’ll bring along all my U.P. -based books as well. There is a full day of fun events you can check out at: http://www.ishpemingrenfest.com/

And don’t forget I love to promote other great books. Because I know some of you have a hard time downloading my Superior Books Promotions newsletter, here is the link for it online: http://www.superiorbookpromotions.com/Newsletter22.html This month’s books include The Affluent Entrepreneur, Second Time’s a Charm, The Evolutionary Glitch, and What’s in the Well Comes Up in the Bucket. All well worth reading!

Enjoy the summer!

Tyler Tichelaar
author of The Marquette Trilogy, My Marquette, and many more!
