JUDGES NEEDED FOR NEW STUDENT CONTEST
Any UPPAA member who is willing to help as a judge for the upcoming student writing contest should contact Larry Buege: LSBuege@aol.com. Judges will read through about 10 stories written by high school students and score them on a number of items. A scoring sheet will be provided. We should have three judges read each story for balance and fairness, so we can use as many judges as are willing to help out. There will be no names on the stories, just an entry number, so judges do not need to worry that they might know a student who submitted. Members who volunteer to help would receive these stories by Jan. 31, 2018, and likely sooner than that.
